Quad City Bank & Trust Appoints Scott Tinsman, Jr. to its Board of Directors
Quad City Bank & Trust is proud to welcome W. Scott Tinsman, Jr. to its Board of Directors.
Shortly after graduating from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Scott started his career as a new construction facilities engineer for robotic lines at IBM. He later transitioned into large systems sales and lease financing and eventually returned to the Quad Cities to join his family business, Twin State, Inc. In his current role as COO, Scott’s responsibilities range from production and logistics management to overseeing purchasing and strategic acquisitions. He also recently stepped into the position of CEO of Sivyer Steel Castings, LLC.
Active in his community, Scott is a state trustee for The Nature Conservancy –Iowa Chapter (Des Moines). He is also Chairman of Rock River Lumber and Grain and sits on the board of the Quad Cities Community Foundation and CommodityAg LLC. Scott is a past president and former board member of the Bettendorf Community School District, Vera French Foundation, Vera French Mental Health Center, and The Fertilizer Institute in Washington, DC. He has also served on various committees for Genesis Health Systems and Two Rivers YMCA over the years.
